Demons in the Graveyard

~~~
A scene from Good Omens, featuring Hastur, Ligur and Adam. I always did have a thing for the gruesome twosome, and I had to put Baby Adam in there as well. Babies in baskets are easy to draw at least. I was pretty surprised when my attempts to transfer my mental image of Ligur (the short one, in case you don't know) to paper came out looking like Frodo Baggin's evil twin, but hey, I do what works. I love the little hair-horns and the graffiti. Hastur looks a bit vampiric and both their flesh tones came out funny, but I suppose that's natural for a demon. You do not know how long it took to do the railings, grass and gravestones, despite the simplistic style. My favourite bit in this pic is the sky - I'm really proud of how it came out. Expect more works featuring these two, they're a lot of fun to draw. And maybe I'll do an older version of Adam, with his face visible this time.
You could probably sing the title to the tune of "I Heard It Through The Grapevine". Volunteers to do a filk? I'll host it on my Writing page.
