Love Or Something (Sketch Version)

Title stolen from a favourite Boomtown Rats song of mine.
So. Uh. Anyway. Yeah, that's Dingeye and Thura (pre-Abbey, hence the different and raggier clothes from when I last drew them). Yes, one is kissing the other (I think I meant it to be Dingeye on the receiving end, but they're hard to tell apart). No, you're not hallucinating, and no, I wasn't on drugs when I drew this. I have some explaining to do, don't I?

dared me to slash them. Even I didn't quite
dare to write that outright. At least not yet. So I drew it
instead. Like it, Chibi? You'd better, I put a lot of effort into it, to say
it's just a pencil sketch cleaned up in Paintshop. Do you have any idea how damn
hard it is to draw a kiss when the creature featured has a snout? Yeah, okay,
I'll still write something for you sometime. But if you want a lemon between
these two, you write it yourself - and for crying out loud, don't make me
look at it! I'll take most dares, but I do have my limits.
Every time I started fiddling with this sketch, as I did over a period of several days, the voice of reason would pipe up. "What are you THINKING?!" it would say. "That's disgusting! You can't inflict this on the fandom! People's brains will explode with the horror! Brian Jacques will run across it and ban fandom for life!" Then I looked back at it and went "... but they're so CUTE together." Get the little motion lines round Thura's tail? Aww. I don't even think stoats do wag their tails when happy, but if any stoats do, these guys do.
I don't quite know what the prelude to this scene was, or what's going to happen next. Yelling and punching? (Probably most in-character, sad to say.) Turning into full-blown snogfest? (Everyone except Chibi-Murasala shudders.) Silent agreement never to speak of this again? Hmm. However, I can say that I'm going to post a colour version up some day when I have more time, and if I don't suddenly find my inbox filled up with flames.
