Crew of the Seascab

Characters fron left to right as you look at the pic: Captain Plugg Firetail (screamingly obviously), Slitfang, Tazzin, Fatty Ferret (who was only mentioned in one line and a song, but I liked the name), Ripper Rat (playing with fire, though it's hard to see on this scale), Scummy Stoat and Steersrat Grubbage. You want to give yourself a headache sometime, try working out how a turban would wrap on a rat's head. It's harder than you think. It's also harder than you think to draw a ferret chewing something without making them look like they have a balloon stuck to their face. Yes, Tazzin is meant to be grabbing Slitfang's rear, hence the PG rating, though the "surprised" look I intended him to have didn't come out too well. Why, yes, I do ship those two together, why do you ask? "Ship" being an appropriate word in the circumstances. Look, at least this time it's a hetero pair. Of course, if he grabbed her rear he'd find his paw ripped off and either several yards from his body or halfway down his throat. Ah, gotta love double-standards. Ripper was mentioned in the ship's song as having "burnt down his grandpa's house", but in this drawing I seem to have taken it a little further and made him a pyromaniac. Plugg's appearance was taken from the chapter-heading illustrations in my copy of Triss, except this time he's actually bothered to put his arms in his sleeves. (Why didn't he in the illustrations? I do not know. But he didn't.)
